You’ll find these tools inside the DuckDuckGo app for iOS and Android by hitting the ⋮ icon, then heading to Settings > Email Protection. It’s also a great deterrent against targeted ads, as your true email address is pure gold for tracking purposes. This is useful for creating extra accounts on websites and cutting off email spam.
Masking: Generate randomized email addresses (such as that forward to your actual address and can be blocked at any time. DuckDuckGo will block known trackers before passing the messages along to your actual email inbox, so that marketers-or anyone using read receipts-can’t see whether you opened their emails. (Just note that this may not prevent tracking the links you click on.) Anti-tracking: Get a email address (mine’s to hand out instead of your actual email address. All you have to do is type cheatsheet next to a query for an app, language, or service, and DuckDuckGo will list common shortcuts or the basics of your search term.DuckDuckGo offers two main ways of protecting email privacy: It can help you find keyboard shortcuts for your favorite app and learn the basics of popular programming languages. Once the feature is active, you’ll be able to see how many trackers were blocked, including from which companies and in which apps. 
The feature will ask you to set up a VPN connection to monitor data traffic from your apps (none of this data is sent to DuckDuckGo servers, though). You’ll find it in the “More from DuckDuckGo” section.
And then, go to Settings in the app and enable the feature. To use app tracking protection, install DuckDuckGo for Android on your phone if you don’t already have it.
